  I wanted to integrate some whole grain goodness into my bread baking but my sweet hubby hates whole wheat bread! However, he lurves rye bread and sourdough bread. Soooo....I got some of this lovely organic whole rye flour (10 lbs worth -- which will last awhile) and have made lovely sourdough rye bread with it which my sweet hubby is enjoying to the fullest! :)

NOTE: I made a great sourdough rye starter by just mixing 1/2 cup of this flour with 1/2 cup of de-chlorinated water. My very first starter ever and it worked great! Yay!

I do highly recommend baking with this flour if you love the flavor of rye.
