|The LamsonSharp offset bread knife is a bit pricey but worth it! The serrade is the best I have ever used for a bread knife. The length between serrade peaks and the depth of each grove make for smooth motion and a fine "bread dust" that does not explosively leave the cut line, unlike knives with a larger serrade. The offset handle gives greater energy transfer to the blade (force-via-position) and keeps my hand off the cutting board. Asthetically the knife is very attractive: the subtle curve of the forged blade and tang and the rosewood grips accenting the handle. Great for cutting fruits and vegis too.|
