Roni Filla –
Not sure if the measurements are correct on this listing. I have 2 of these a 1 oz. and a 2 oz. 1 oz measures just at 1 1/4″ diameter, and the 2 oz measures 1 3/4″ diameter. The 1 oz makes cookie about 2 1/2″ diameter baked. The 2 oz. Cookie Scoop makes a cookie about 3 1/2″ diameter. That also depends if the scoop is not overfilled and scooped level. Other factors are the type of batter. Generally I get uniformity with both scoops. These are incredible and well made, and I never allow my cookie scoops to be used for Ice Cream. We have one from 31 Flavors (gifted to us) many years ago and still going strong. I don’t know what I would do without my Cookie Scoops, certainly one of the top 10 baking tools used in my kitchen and baking. Oh, I use the 2 oz sized scoop when measuring Dough for Buns. Perfect Size, and always uniform.
